Dear Colleagues,
First of all, I would like to extend my deepest regards for your support.  We are promoting our society to the world every other day hand in hand with the countries and communities in EUROASIA, which gave its name to our association representing the Balkans, Thrace, Anatolia, Caucasus, Middle East, Central and Western Asia region, and with which we have historical bonds. The next step will be to encourage the researches in this area and to help them take their place in the literature.
This year we are going to publish our official journal named   “Euroasian Journal of Hepato – Gastroenterology “. This journal will be printed 4 times a year by Jaypee Brothers Publishing and will be sent for free to 400 scientific points in the world. We are waiting for your articles written in English.
 Our journal is going to be supported by 10 countries and I hope it will contribute to the scientific study of Turkey as well as the other countries in the region.
12th Euroasian Congress of Gastroenterology and Surgery will be held on 13-15th October, 2011 in Baku, Azerbaijan. This decision is taken to honor the renovation of Scientific Surgical Center by Azerbaijan government in Baku on its 50th anniversary.
We are looking forward to receiving your abstracts and publications written in English to be published in Euroasian Journal of Hepato-Gastroenterology as soon as possible.

EGA is participating in the 7^th Congress of Hepato Bilio Pancreatology Society which will be held on between 29^th of September and 3^rd of October.

12^th International Euroasian Congress of Gastroenterology and Surgery will be held in Kazan which is the capital of Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.

In August 2009, we as Euroasian Gastroenterological Association delegates visited Kazan. There we had a business meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Public Healthcare, Vafin Adel Yunousovich, and with the Rector of Kazan State Medical University together with Ayrat U. Ziganshin, Andrei P. Kiyasov and Rustam Abdulhakov.

As a result of this meeting we decided to organize our next congress in Kazan.
